Tumshangilieni’s school closed on 12 April and a ceremony was held for the top performers.
Class l: First prize went to Shuvian Njoki with 479 points out of 500. Second prize went to Julianne Mutheu with 458 points.
Class II: First prize: Emmanuel Karioki with 475 points. Second prize: Newton Andanje with 459 points.
Classes III and IV study at the school on the land in Kibagare so the results were not immediately available.
Class V: First prize: Benjamin Mutunga with 390 points. Second prize: Nastali Thiongo with 355 points.
Class VI: First prize went to Andrew Kamau with 396 points. Second prize: Teresia Waithera with 392 points.
Classes VII and VIII study at St. Joseph’s.
Recognition was give to the most disciplined/improved and tidiest children .
All of the above received books and the little ones, toys.
